Weather Report- Spring 2010 Part 1

This Spring's forecast is not tricky nor is it rocket science, hell you don't even have to be a fashionista to get it ! Their are extras of course on the runways of Paris however, the Spring "Must Haves" (as I like to call them) are near not far. You might be surprised but I have to say.... I predict simple pieces this spring and from a vintage stand point I'm gonna list 4 frocks you probably already have (or at least something very similar)balled up in a bag marked "Goodwill".

Flowy, Full skirts. They are great for the simple fact that they are shiek yet very comfortable. I'll take these over blue jeans any day ! Even thought this skirt is very styled up, so to speak-this is something I would wear a hundred ways (including the way it's shown). I would even go as farr as to rockin it with a simple V-neck tee and a pair of flat knee boots! Sure would -

                                                                                  Little Scarfs- Scarfs make my list no matter what type of list Im writing. This Spring little one's will be on the runways as well as on the streets! You can even make your own. Simply go to the fabric store, pic a fabric that you love (make sure it's not one that easily frays, so that you dont have to sew:-) simply cut the fabric in a pefect square (about the size of a laptop-standard size ones)

Cropped Pants-Skinny pants with Capri cuts are going to be a hit this Spring. Easily recreate this look with skinny jeans, scissors and a little stitching and if you can't stich, hell rock em' hemless

Lightweight Dresses & Wraps-we're going to see a lot of dresses made out of light materials that are draped as gracefully quite gracefully. Even though you may not splurg on a runway look like this one, you will still want to wear very silky sheer, femme pieces.
