Celebr'e: On Trend Pic Spread #2

Celebr'e: On Trend

So, Marie Claire's November 2009 issue (Hilary Swank Cover)said it best with the spread "Femme Fatale". When I (The Celebr'e COllection)decided to design a Lace Black and Gold Femme Sheath I thought about all the things that would capture the beauty in a late 20-30 something women. Sex appeal, aggressiveness, and power played in my head over and over. Trend was the last thing to think about however with many experts calling feminine darkies pieces for fall powerful, I knew this design would fit the bill.

Turns out Dolce and I where on the same page! I love love love these femminne pieces because they exude power time 10! The Celebr'e Collection has predicted yet another trend having designed our dress in August of 2009, it could have been worn in the Marie Claire spread and stood up to the best of the best such as Dolce & Gabbana, Phillip Lim, and Allen Schwartz.

Bags Of Studs and Chains.......

Talk about embellishments! That seems to be what they all have in common.

I'm Talking about the bags of the season! These rock inspired bags come in tons of shapes, sizes, and colors. Some of my favorites of the season are offered at some of my favorite places like Topshop.com, ZARA, and ZAPPOS.com just to name a few.

Tip #1- When rocking these studded beauties remember to never add more studs to your look. I have a rule which states, there is a maximum of one other piece with an edgy feel and if I had to choose which piece it would for sure be a crazy biker or bomber jacket.

Tip #2- Offset your studs and chains with softer pieces such as silk frocks and any other light femme fabrics.

For me the best thing about these on trends bags are the fact that they will be around for a while so you can splurge a little.Invest in at least one quality bag with chained strap details such as the one pictured in this post (available at topshop.com). That one bag will give you that extreme feminine edge to bring out the rocker sheik chick in you!

Until next post, stay fashionably focused
